Baskets and Balls

Steve Nash of the NBA and Mac Cardona of the PBA (I'd mention the many others but these 2 were the most talked about in our home, comprising me and my dad).

I now like the numbers 13, 9 and sometimes 17. HAHA.

J-Pop: A Band and 'the Song'

I like lots of bands, but we have to admit not every song in the album is our favorite. Here are some of my picks in the J-Pop band scene and a favorite song from them. Enjoy!

1. Asian Kung-Fu Generation : Solanin

2. Radwimps : Futarigoto

3. Supercell : Utakata Hanabi

4. Suga Shikao : Sorosoro Ikanakucha

I would've posted more but these are the artists whose albums and songs I've been tracking. So far I liked many of their releases but these songs are the songs that sticked to my mind and made its way into my phone's Most Played songs.

With Solanin, it's the first Ajikan performance that made me realize how good of a band they were. I might be biased since I didn't really see their lives much. I watched this after hearing it on the movie of the same name. My emotions were really affected when I saw them play it. The movie surely played a role. Since then, I loved Ajikan more than ever.

Futarigoto (Soliloquy For Two) is a hit song by the Radwimps. What caught me most was it's lyrics and how they were sang. Also, the song's bridge was really good. I listened to it many, many times since I heard it.

As a Sakura and Sasuke fan, I looked up the song and Supercell's full album I liked almost all of the songs which is quite rare for a Japanese band for me. This was my favorite because the singer's voice really matched the song and put all its meaning out there. Awesome.

This song in Honey and Clover is an emotional one. The lyrics are really simple but every time I listen to it I get all emo and stuff. It's in my top favorites in J-Pop, hands down!

Me the VIP ♕ ‏

"Bigbang may be going to the Philippines this October for a concert."

And the Filipino VIPs go wild!

I did go wild. But then tears started wanting to burst out from my eyes.

I just realized that my dream to see Bigbang live in concert is going down the drain.

So near, but so very far.

I am still in 1st year college. In a middle class family. Unable to pay for a ticket to Manila. And even more unable to buy a ticket in even the farthest seat in the Araneta Colloseum.

I even promised myself to buy a Bigbang album (my very first) using my first salary as (hopefully) a CPA Lawyer.

I have never thought I'd cry because of the realization that I couldn't watch them. My idol affections drew closer to devotion. I even went to mass the next day after I found out and asked God to make a way for me to see them.

Ever since I noticed TOP in that Koe Wo Kikasete video on Channel V, I loved K-Pop. It was all because of Bigbang.

I love them. I wasn't a VIP from the start, but I am a VIP at heart.

My First Time in Summer School

Nope, it's not what you think.

I didn't fail a subject or anything, well if you don't count my midterm grade in Accounting.

I'm taking 3 subjects and next year I actually have a foreign language class. Yay! But I want Japanese speaking lessons though it would be much more practical to be taking Mandarin. One, 'cause I already have a background and I know some of the basics. Two, it is the said 'next universal langauge.'

But I REALLY wanna learn Japanese (so I don't need subs anymore haha).

Awards Night (MOR Cagayan de Oro City version)

There's this really funny advice show about love in the 91.9 radio station in the local. My fave station used to be Killer Bee but since I got a walkman and then leveled-up to getting a phone with a memory card, I listened less to the radio.

I occassionally listen in every Sunday when this love advice (sex and everything in between included) show is on. I LOL all the time especially with the sarcasm and comedic remarks of the DJs Tita Bernita and Mommy J.

I must seem really weird laughing all alone in my room. Well I don't really laugh, it's more like trying to stop my bursting laughter that makes it much more weirder.

Drama in Japan (J-Dorama)

Can't wait for the subbing of movies Ouran High School Host Club, Bokura Ga Ita, Liar Game Reborn and Rurounin Kenshin.

I want Nichkhun speaking Japanese, Yoshitaka Yuriko in a drama (movie) again, Akiyama Shinichi is the best and Kenshin in real life, just what fans have been waiting for for a very long time!

On the other hand.

Though the movies for Kimi To Boku isn't out on the net yet, I loved this song I discovered from its OST. It's my current most played in my phone playlist. Here it is:

It's "Tegami" by Maaya Sakamoto from her album "You Can't Catch Me."

I love how she says "popura." It sticks to me and the song itself is just so perfect to set a good mood.

Summer class is making me busy but I'll DEFINITELY have time to watch these dramas & movies. Kyaa~

Mako is my new Zuko

Devastating it was when Avatar : The Last Airbender ended. Zutara wasn't even given a chance but at least Zuko was happy. Che.

I was thinking twice about watching Korra but I did and I loved it!! Especially Mako <3

He is like the American-made Sasuke <3

Mr. Ideal Type : The Yellow Eito Ranger

Yes you've heard me blab and blab about Ryo. Let me elaborate more. *Oh joy* *Keep reading please*

I am referring to Nishikido Ryo of Kanjani8. It all started on Tumblr. Ah yes, the blogging site full of beautiful pictures of idols posted by adoring fans to the point of photoshopping them naked. But all I noticed was his smile. Yes, this is true. I started researching him and I really liked his craziness. Although it would not match mine, I liked an outgoing guy never scared to show his wacky side. But he is now married.

JK!

Though it was just for the drama this Spring "Papa Wa Idol," it all seems so real. (Imagine me if this were real. Reality is nothing but a dream. Denial stage for 3 years max hahahahahaha!)

This post is to ask you to come and enjoy watching this drama with me! (Once subbed)

Let's support Ryo! :DD

Most frequently asked

I've been asked a lot on Formspring about my fave songs and music and I have lots of them so I can't really choose just one. Time After Time would be the best but then I can't call it a favorite.

My blog has a music player on the side with some of the favorites in the Asian genre while my YouTube account has my other faves so enjoy. (http://www.youtube.com/user/PatienceGurl10?feature=mhee)

And my phone has my songs but then you can't really see it X) lol

Have you ever tried trolling? x)

Yes and my fave troll site is Omegle. I've pretended to be lots of people and that was really fun! :p
